How Do I Score My Vibe?

You are able to assign a score to your LuvLog posts if you so desire. The LuvHertz scoring system ranges on a continuum from -5 to +5. A score of - 5 is the absolute worst score and indicates an extremely negative experience with your Vibe. A score of + 5 is the ultimate positive score and describes an extremely favorable experience.

The Current Frequency for each Vibe is displayed on your VibeMeter. The VibeMeter is an evaluative relationship and dating tool, which helps you to gauge the advice you receive and measure your relationship or dating progress. A specialized mathematical formula, which takes into account each LuvLog post, is used to arrive at an overall score for your Vibe and is revealed on the VibeMeter.

What Are JoltZ and TingleZ?

JoltZ: Any score of -4 or worse counts as a Jolt. If your Vibe gets three Joltz he or she is automatically Fried and is banished to your Fried Vibes list. A Fried Vibe will be immediately removed from your Live Vibes list and from your Vibe’N box. To Revive a Fried Vibe you’ll have to seek Entourage approval or endure the mandatory three day waiting period. Learn more on Frying Vibes here.

TingleZ: Any score of +4 or better counts as a Tingle. A Tingle is a great score that reflects very positively on your Vibe. Any Vibe that receives three Tingles will be designated as a HighFreq Vibe. HighFreq Vibes can be identified by this icon HighFreq TingleZ Icon that appears next to their “names” and avatars. Learn more on the different Types of Vibes here.

Why is My Score Negative?

Your Current Frequency for a particular Vibe will be negative if you have given the majority of your LuvLog entries negative scores (scores less than zero) or if you have given a few entries extremely negative scores. If your VibeMeter is consistently below zero it indicates that change or improvement is necessary. The VibeMeter ranges between -5 and +5. The lower the score the worse the prospects are for a given Vibe.

What Are the Different Scoring and Rating Systems?

Current Frequency
Your VibeMeter will display the Current Frequency of each of your Vibes. The Current Frequency is essentially the overall score for your Vibe, which takes into account all of the scores you have given to a Vibe over the history of that relationship.

Entourage Score
Your Entourage Score is the overall score for your Vibe as determined by your Entourage. This score takes into account all of the scores that your Entourage has given to your Vibe over the history of the relationship. By comparing your Vibe’s Current Frequency to your Entourage Scores for that Vibe you can work to remain objective and accountable within your relationships.

What Does My Entourage Do?

Your Entourage is the trusted group of friends enlisted to help you with your love life. These can be family members, friends, colleagues or other LuvHertz members worldwide. You are able to receive helpful quantifiable relationship and dating feedback from your Entourage by sharing your experiences with them. The members in your Entourage can view, score and comment on your LuvLogs to the extent that your personal privacy settings allow.

Help Scoring: FreqOut

LuvHertz has many features that can help you to rate your experiences with your Vibe in order to keep you honest, objective and accountable.

You can send a Freq (Frequency) to your Entourage to ask for help in determining a score for your LuvLog posts. A Freq is a ‘911’ signal sent out to your Entourage to alert them when help is needed. If you are unsure of how to score a particular LuvLog post and require feedback, advice or need to gain perspective regarding an experience with your Vibe you can FreqOut to your Entourage for help. If you do not enter a score for your LuvLog entry a FreqOut will automatically be sent to your Entourage inviting their help in scoring your post. Your Entourage will respond to your FreqOut by sending you a Shrink, which includes their votes for the score to be given.

Help Scoring: Shrink

LuvHertz has many features that can help you to rate your experiences with your Vibe in order to keep you honest, objective and accountable.

A Shrink is the response to a FreqOut. Just like a psychiatrist is casually referred to as a “shrink”, your Entourage can be thought of as your own group of personal relationship counselors. When you receive feedback on your FreqOut you’ve been Shrink’D. A Shrink will include a recommended score from your Entourage for the LuvLog entry that you Freq’D about. You can use the advice and the recommended scores given in the Shrinks to finalize your decision on what score to give to your LuvLog post. You can let your Entourage members know whether or not you will be taking their scoring advice by hitting “Accept” or “Decline” in your Shrinks. Then you can enter your score based on all the feedback you’ve received.

Help Scoring: Survey Spectators

LuvHertz has many features that can help you to rate your experiences with your Vibe in order to keep you honest, objective and accountable.

You can poll the worldwide members of LuvHertz to gauge the opinions of a specific demographic that is of interest to you in order to solve a relationship predicament or dating dilemma or to get a second opinion on advice given to you by your Entourage.

Help Scoring: ID

LuvHertz has many features that can help you to rate your experiences with your Vibe in order to keep you honest, objective and accountable.

You can link your LuvLog post to any Entourage members who were present during your interaction with your Vibe by ID’ing them. When you ID or Identify Entourage members in your LuvLog post the Entourage members who were Identify’D (ID’d) are alerted and can comment and offer their scores for this event. This is very helpful when you want to obtain the opinions and hear the perspectives of other people who witnessed your experience with your Vibe. You can ID multiple members in a post.

For example if you were at a party with your Vibe and five of your Entourage members were at this party too, you can ID all five of those members in your post about your experience at this party with your Vibe. Since these five Entourage members were physically present at the party they are in a good position to offer their perspectives on the experiences you describe in your LuvLog post.

How Do I Send a FreqOut?

When you are adding a New LuvLog Entry you can send a Freq by selecting the FreqOut checkbox found beneath the scoring continuum. When you place a check in the FreqOut checkbox a Freq will be sent to your entire Entourage notifying them that you have requested help scoring your new post. From the FreqOut box you can “block” specific Entourage members from receiving your FreqOut before you send your Freq. Hit “Post Entry” to send your FreqOut. Alternatively, to cancel your FreqOut uncheck the FreqOut checkbox and manually enter your LuvLog score yourself.

When entering a New LuvLog Entry if you do not enter a score for your post a Freq will automatically be sent to your Entourage to invite their assistance in scoring your post.

How Do I Respond to a Freq/ How Do I Send a Shrink?

When you receive FreqOuts from your Entourage you can reply to their requests for help by sending them Shrinks. When you reply to a Freq and offer your scoring advice you are sending a Shrink.

To send a Shrink, open the Freq you’ve received and review the post. Click “New Shrink” to share your score recommendation. Select the score you prefer from the scoring continuum and include any feedback you want to give into the comments box. Hit “Post” to send your Shrink.

How Do I Respond to a Shrink?

When you FreqOut to your Entourage for help in scoring your LuvLog post, the Freq’D post is left un-scored. Your Entourage will send you back Shrinks with their score recommendations. You can either accept or decline these recommended scores. You can comment and respond to the Shrinks you receive by hitting the “Write a Reply” button.

When you are ready to score your post, taking into account all the feedback you’ve received from your Shrinks, you can simply open your FreqOut post by clicking on it from your Personal Pulse or from your VibeFolio. Once you open the FreqOut you will see an orange box near the top of the post that says “!! This post was sent as a FreqOut and has not been scored yet!” To score the post click on the “Select Score” link on the right side of this box. From here you can review your “Average Accepted Shrink Score” and your “Average Total Shrink Score” to help you determine the score for your post. Lastly, click “Score Post” and select your score from the scoring continuum. Click “Save” to post your score or “Cancel” to change your mind.

You can also score your FreqOut post by editing the post. To edit the FreqOut post simply click the “Edit button” (looks like a pencil) beside that post. When the post opens up you can select your score from the scoring continuum. Verify that no real names were added to the edited post and hit “Save” to continue. Please note you cannot change the scores for previously scored posts. You are only allowed to “edit” the score of a post that was previously un-scored, i.e. a FreqOut post that has not yet been scored.
