How Do I Score an Interaction with My Vibe?

To score an interaction with your Vibe you must add a new LuvLog entry. You can add a New LuvLog entry from your Vibe’N box in the bottom left corner of your page by clicking on the “+ LuvLog” link. From your VibeFolio you can add a new LuvLog post by clicking the “+ Post New” link. Similarly, from your Vibe’s page you can click the “+ New Entry” button.

To score the new entry, from your New LuvLog Entry box simply click on the score from the scoring continuum to select. If you are unsure of what score to give your interaction you can FreqOut to ask your Entourage for scoring advice. Hit “Post Entry” to finalize the new entry and your score or hit “Cancel” to change your mind.

What is My VibeMeter?

Your VibeMeter is an evaluative relationship and dating tool, which helps you to quantify the advice you receive. Your VibeMeter assists you in measuring your relationship and dating progress.

A specialized mathematical formula, which takes into account each LuvLog post, is used to arrive at the Current Frequency for your Vibe and is revealed on your VibeMeter. The VibeMeter displays an overall score that takes into account all of the scores that have been given to entries within a LuvLog over the history of the VibeFolio. The VibeMeter is your accountability tool. It keeps you aware of the kinds of relationships you choose to nurture, participate and invest in. If your VibeMeter is consistently below zero it indicates that change or improvement is necessary. If it is consistently above zero it indicates progress and general healthy relationship patterns.

What is the Difference Between HighFreq, LowFreq and Static?

HighFreq - Positive events and LuvLog posts that receive a good score are referred to as being High Frequency. Events receiving scores between +1 and +5 are HighFreq Events.

Static - Static events are neutral. These LuvLog posts are neither HighFreq nor LowFreq. You may want to give a LuvLog post a Static score when giving a score is either unnecessary or not applicable given the type of post. On the other hand, the best score to give the post might simply be zero therefore Static would be the most suitable option on the scoring continuum.

LowFreq - Negative events and LuvLog posts that receive bad scores are referred to as being Low Frequency. Events receiving scores between -1 and -5 are LowFreq Events.

What is the difference between Tinglez and Joltz?

Tinglez
TingleZ are any scores of +4 or more. These are extremely positive events and therefore result in extremely high scores for your Vibe. A Vibe receiving consistent TingleZ is a good match and shows a tremendous amount of potential for a sustained, long term and loving romantic relationship. If a Vibe receives three TingleZ s/he is deemed to be a HighFreq Vibe. HighFreq Vibes can be identified by this icon HighFreq TingleZ Icon located next to their avatars or “names”.

Joltz
JoltZ are any scores of -4 or less. These are extremely negative events and therefore result in extremely low scores for your Vibe. If a Vibe receives three JoltZ s/he is automatically Fried and sent to the Fried Vibes List.

Can a Vibe Score His/Her Own LuvLog?

A Vibe can score his/her own LuvLog to the extent that he or she is part of your Entourage or a member of LuvHertz and your privacy setting for that Vibe is set to Public. Keep in mind that if your Vibe is a member of LuvHertz he or she will most likely not have selected a username for him or herself that is identical to the “name” you gave to him/her.

Who can score my LuvLog?

You are always able to score your own LuvLog posts. Depending on the privacy settings you select for your Vibe, or the privacy settings you select for a particular LuvLog post, your Entourage and worldwide members of LuvHertz may also be able to score your LuvLog post.

If you set your Vibe’s privacy setting (or LuvLog post privacy for a particular entry) as Semi-Private, or Semi-Public your Entourage is able to vote on scores for your LuvLog. The scores given by your Entourage will be accounted for in your Entourage Score.

If you set your Vibe’s privacy setting (or LuvLog post privacy) as Public, anyone including your Entourage and the worldwide members of LuvHertz can vote on a score in your LuvLog that will be included in your Entourage Score.

Help Scoring: FreqOut

You can send a Freq (Frequency) to your Entourage to ask for help in determining a score for your LuvLog posts. A Freq is a ‘911’ signal sent out to your Entourage to alert them when help is needed. If you are unsure of how to score a particular LuvLog post and require feedback, advice or need to gain perspective regarding an experience with your Vibe you can FreqOut to your Entourage for help. If you do not enter a score for your LuvLog entry a FreqOut will automatically be sent to your Entourage inviting their help in scoring your post. Your Entourage will respond to your FreqOut by sending you a Shrink, which includes their votes for the score to be given.

Help Scoring: Shrink

A Shrink is the response to a FreqOut. Just like a psychiatrist is casually referred to as a “shrink”, your Entourage can be thought of as your own group of personal relationship counselors. When you receive feedback on your FreqOut you’ve been Shrink’D. A Shrink will include a recommended score from your Entourage for the LuvLog entry that you Freq’D about. You can use the advice and the recommended scores given in the Shrinks to finalize your decision on what score to give to your LuvLog post. You can let your Entourage members know whether or not you will be taking their scoring advice by hitting “Accept” or “Decline” in your Shrinks. Then you can enter your score based on all the feedback you’ve received.

Help Scoring: Survey Spectators

You can poll the worldwide members of LuvHertz to gauge the opinions of a specific demographic that is of interest to you in order to solve a relationship predicament or dating dilemma or to get a second opinion on advice given to you by your Entourage.

Help Scoring: ID

You can link your LuvLog post to any Entourage members who were present during your interaction with your Vibe by ID’ing them. When you ID or Identify Entourage members in your LuvLog post the Entourage members who were Identify’D (ID’d) are alerted and can comment and offer their scores for this event. This is very helpful when you want to obtain the opinions and hear the perspectives of other people who witnessed your experience with your Vibe. You can ID multiple members in a post.

For example if you were at a party with your Vibe and five of your Entourage members were at this party too, you can ID all five of those members in your post about your experience at this party with your Vibe. Since these five Entourage members were physically present at the party they are in a good position to offer their perspectives on the experiences you describe in your LuvLog post.

How Do I Send a FreqOut?

When you are adding a New LuvLog Entry you can send a Freq by selecting the FreqOut checkbox found beneath the scoring continuum. When you place a check in the FreqOut checkbox a Freq will be sent to your entire Entourage notifying them that you have requested feedback and help scoring your new post. From the FreqOut box you can “block” specific Entourage members from receiving your FreqOut before you send your Freq. Hit “Post Entry” to send your FreqOut or to cancel your FreqOut uncheck the FreqOut checkbox and manually enter your LuvLog score yourself.

When entering a New LuvLog Entry if you do not enter a score for your post a Freq will automatically be sent to your Entourage to invite their assistance in scoring your post.

To send a Shrink, open the Freq you’ve received and review the post. Click “New Shrink” to share your advice and score recommendation. Select the score you prefer from the scoring continuum and include any feedback you want to give into the comments box. Hit “Post” to send your Shrink.

How Do I Respond to a Shrink?

When you FreqOut to your Entourage for help in scoring your LuvLog post, the Freq’D post is left un-scored. Your Entourage will send you back Shrinks with their score recommendations. You can either accept or decline these recommended scores. You can comment and respond to the Shrinks you receive by hitting the “Write a Reply” button.

When you are ready to score your post, taking into account all the feedback you’ve received from your Shrinks, you can simply open your FreqOut post by clicking on it from your Personal Pulse or from your VibeFolio. Once you open the FreqOut you will see an orange box near the top of the post that says “!! This post was sent as a FreqOut and has not been scored yet!” To score the post click on the “Select Score” link on the right side of this box. From here you can review your “Average Accepted Shrink Score” and your “Average Total Shrink Score” to help you determine the score for your post. You can also score your FreqOut post by editing the post. To edit the FreqOut post simply click the “Edit button” (looks like a pencil) beside that post. When the post opens up you can select your score from the scoring continuum. Verify that no real names were added to the edited post and hit “Save” to continue.
